Guizhou Baiguotuo Yangtze River Regulation Project

　　The high-pressure seamless rubber dam with pneumatic gates has been operating steadily with water storage for one month, bringing tremendous ecological, environmental and economic benefits to Baiguo Town. Water storage by this rubber dam boosts oxygen aeration in rivers and raises the dissolved oxygen content in water bodies. Its water discharge scours river channels, flushes away sludge deposited from coal washing, purifies water quality and restores the ecological environment of river courses. The local government has carried out greening construction on both sides of rivers, built landscape roads and pavilions, providing leisure spaces for local residents, improving people's living standards and enhancing their sense of happiness. While the environment gets improved, it attracts investment and drives local economic development.
