Core Quality of Domestic Air-Cushioned Shield Sluices

At present, domestic pneumatic shield sluices in China represent an upgraded iteration of traditional rubber dams. Their structural design is mainly aimed at overcoming the drawbacks of conventional rubber dams. Nevertheless, both products rely on dam bladders as their core component. Domestic pneumatic shield sluices are fitted with an outer protective cover on top of the core bladder; this cover only serves to intercept floating debris in river channels, while the core technology still lies in the manufacturing of dam bladders. Our enterprise has earned industry-wide recognition in dam bladder production. For example, during the non-flood season, the dam body is normally raised to create pleasing waterscape and guarantee downstream runoff. This enables temporary water storage on one hand and forms an ornamental waterfall landscape on the other. In contrast, rubber dams rely on filling and draining water inside rubber bladders to lift or lower the dam, which requires a lengthy adjustment period. Domestic pneumatic shield sluices adopt inflatable airbags to support shield plates, drastically shortening the time for dam raising and lowering. "Typically, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to raise a domestic pneumatic shield sluice and roughly 20 minutes to lower it."
Every bladder undergoes a 24-hour pressure retention test before factory delivery. Under high-pressure working conditions, inspectors check for air/water leakage, pressure drop and surface appearance. We custom-manufacture bladders of varied specifications, including ones 10 meters in total length with an 8-meter water retaining height as well as irregular-sized products, to fully satisfy clients’ dimensional requirements.
