Conventional Coatings

Coatings refer to a type of liquid or solid materials that can be applied to the surface of an object and form a film under certain conditions to provide protection, decoration, or other special functions (such as insulation, rust prevention, mildew prevention, heat resistance, etc.). In the early days, most coatings mainly used vegetable oils as raw materials, so they were also called paints. Now, synthetic resins have replaced vegetable oils, and thus they are called coatings. Coatings are not always in liquid form; powder coatings are a major category of coatings.
Water - based epoxy coatings
Not only do they retain the advantages of solvent - based epoxy coatings, such as good chemical resistance, adhesion, physical and mechanical properties, and electrical insulation, but they also feature low pollution, easy construction, low cost, and strong adhesion. By combining base resins, curing agents, modifiers, etc., various water - soluble epoxy primers, intermediate coats, and topcoats can be prepared, which have a very wide range of applications.

Acrylic polyurethane resin paint

It has good weather resistance, tough film, good gloss, and excellent abrasion resistance. The paint film can maintain excellent impact resistance and flexibility for a long time. It also has good chemical resistance, water resistance, and resistance to mineral oil, vegetable oil, petroleum solvents, and petroleum products. It is used for the surface coating of steel structures in large - scale outdoor projects, train carriages, docks, bridges, machine tools, instruments, electrical appliances, meters, color - steel houses, etc. The varieties include red oxide and gray - series primers, various - colored and metallic - colored enamel paints. Due to color limitations, it can also be used for orange - peel paint and hammer - tone paint.

Epoxy resin paint

Epoxy resin paint is a type of coating with epoxy resin as the main film - forming material. There are numerous varieties, each having its own characteristics. Classified by curing methods, there are self - drying single - component, two - component, and multi - component liquid epoxy coatings; baking single - component and two - component liquid coatings; powder coatings; and radiation - cured epoxy coatings. Classified by the state of the coating, there are solvent - based, solvent - free, and water - based epoxy coatings.

It has strong adhesion, excellent chemical resistance, anti - corrosion properties, water resistance, thermal stability, and electrical insulation. It is widely used in construction, chemical industry, automotive, shipbuilding, electrical insulation, etc. However, when exposed to outdoor sunlight, this paint will lose its luster and powder, so it is more suitable for use as a primer.

Zinc powder tends to settle; stir   thoroughly before use, then add the curing agent and mix well. Allow the   mixture to stand for 10 minutes before application. Stir continuously during   construction. The prepared paint must be used up as soon as possible within a   short pot life.

Epoxy floor paint

Epoxy floor paint has the characteristics of resistance to strong acids and alkalis, abrasion, pressure, impact, mildew, water, dust, slip, as well as anti - static and anti - electromagnetic wave properties. It comes in a variety of bright colors and is easy to clean. It is widely used for surface coating in electronics factories, machinery manufacturing plants, hardware factories, pharmaceutical factories, automobile factories, hospitals, aviation and aerospace bases, laboratories, offices, supermarkets, paper mills, chemical plants, plastic processing plants, textile mills, tobacco factories, confectionery factories, wineries, beverage factories, meat processing plants, parking lots, etc.
