Specifically, there were 5 cases in Gansu, including 4 in Lanzhou and 1 in Zhangye; 4 cases in Ningxia, including 2 in Wuzhong and 2 in Yinchuan; 2 cases in Inner Mongolia, both in Xilingol League; and 2 cases in Hubei, both in directly - administered county - level administrative regions. This round of the epidemic started with a tourist group transmission chain, and the situation is becoming increasingly complex. Up to now, there have been multiple tourist group transmission chains, such as the “Shanghai tourist group”, “Lanzhou tourist group”, “Zhejiang tourist group” and “Kunming, Yunnan tourist group”.

Due to the large number of transmission chains, as of October 21st, the epidemic has affected provinces and cities such as Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Hunan, Beijing, Guizhou, Hebei and Hubei. However, the epidemic situation is complex, and the specific infection link of the tourist groups and the source of infection are still under intensive epidemiological investigation.
